Swiss German University (SGU) was established in 2000 as a joint effort between Indonesia, Germany, Switzerland and Austria to strengthen Indonesia’s higher education system and enhance up its global focus. It is the first international university recognised by Indonesia. Emphasising international collaboration, it offers students opportunities to gain double degrees, undertake internships abroad and participate in exchange programmes.
The private non-profit university offers more than 15 bachelor’s degree programmes and six master’s degree programmes, ranging from engineering, information technology, and business to life sciences and social sciences. All of them use English as the medium of instruction.
With its international curricula and degree programmes, SGU has partnerships with 26 universities and 250 companies across Europe. Students who wish to earn an international double degree have to complete two internships: the first in Indonesia and the second abroad (usually in Germany or Switzerland). SGU’s partners for the double-degree bachelor’s are located in Germany, Switzerland and Taiwan. The university has a South Korean partner for its master’s programme.?

About the Position:

The Student Administration Services team is seeking a proactive Timetabling and Scheduling Officer, internally referred to as an Education Resources Officer, to provide planning, scheduling and operational support.

In this multi-faceted role, you will manage and resolve class timetables, coordinate audits of teaching spaces, and partner with Topic Coordinators and teaching staff to resolve clashes and registration issues. You will identify opportunities to improve timetabling approaches, enhancing efficiencies and outcomes for students.

About You

The Timetabling and Scheduling Officer will demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills which allows them to collaborate with teaching and professional staff to achieve successful outcomes. Your problem solving and time management skills will be the key to your success as you prove your ability to meet strict deadlines, exercise initiative and judgment in high pressure situations and deliver solutions to problems that may arise.

You will also demonstrate:


	Experience or understanding of scheduling, timetabling, or class management in an education environment or equivalent.

The research group of Prof. Dr. Ina Bergheim, Molecular Nutritional Science, Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Vienna, is looking for support of research projects in the thematic field of metabolic liver diseases, immune function, and aging. We are an interdisciplinary research team working at the interfaces between nutrition and the development of metabolic diseases as well as healthy aging. We build on a good working atmosphere, close collaboration with our students, self-dependent involvement, and coordination of research projects.

Your future tasks:

You will be responsible for the conceptualization, co-coordination and co-supervision of studies focusing on the effects of nutrition and aging-related alterations of the gut-liver-axis and inflammatory processes in different model organisms (e.g. mice), but also in humans. Participation in paper writing and publication is expected. In addition, participation in teaching and examinations within the requirements of the collective agreement is expected. The successful candidate is expected to enrol on the PhD programme of the Vienna Doctoral School of Pharmaceutical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences (VDS PhaNuSpo) and to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months after being employed. The position is intended to lead to a PhD thesis, typically in form of cumulative publications.?

	Completed Master's degree or Diploma in the field of Nutritional Sciences or related disciplines (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine) with a Master thesis preferably with a focus on molecular mechanisms related to aging and metabolic disease

	Good knowledge in (nutritional) human physiology and biochemistry
	First experiences in working with model organisms such as mice or conducting human studies, as well as molecular methods such as immunohistochemistry, Western Blot, PCR, and ELISA

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Clinical Psychology Training Programme based in Guildford, at the University of Surrey. We have two 0.6FTE permanent roles available (three days a week) but can discuss alternatives to this working pattern for the right candidates. Our core team day is a Tuesday, with flexibility available for the other two days worked across the week. Staff are encouraged to work on site at the University of Guildford for at least one day a week (on a Tuesday), and at other times when required on campus. Hybrid working is possible across the rest of the week.?

The programme has seen an expansion in training places over the past few years, due to increased funding from NHS England. The posts therefore, offer a unique opportunity to join the team at a time of growth and innovation. The post-holder will work in close partnership with local NHS Trusts, supporting placements, supervisor training and trainee supervision, within the context of the programme’s collaborative university-NHS training ecosystem.

We welcome applications from qualified HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists with expertise across a variety of clinical or research settings. We are particularly interested in applications from Psychologists interested in neuropsychological assessment, working with Older Adults and people with Learning Disabilities. Successful applicants will be required to work well as a member of a team, and be passionate about developing the clinical competencies of our trainees. The PsychD team are a welcoming, innovative and cohesive group with a wide variety of clinical and research interests. The programme sits within the Discipline of Clinical and Health Psychology, within the School of Psychology. The School has an outstanding reputation for applied psychology training and research. You will be joining a vibrant department with an active research culture, and a team who are committed to inclusion, antiracism and exploring the needs of under-served communities. There are multiple opportunities for ongoing professional development, including applicants being eligible to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (if not already held).

All post-holders must hold a clinical doctorate in psychology, or equivalent, and will be expected to contribute directly to evaluation of clinical competencies, develop links with local NHS Trusts, and contribute towards teaching and learning, in addition to day-to-day administrative tasks of the programme. The role will provide opportunities for leadership development.

Please note that this role will be offered at either Lecturer A or Lecturer B level depending on your experience (see job profiles below for further details). The salary range for a 0.6 FTE Lecturer A starts from ?22,616 and 0.6 FTE Lecturer B starts from ?28,433.

The School of Molecular Sciences is home to the Structural Biology group of Prof Charlie Bond, alongside colleagues in chemistry, biochemistry and genetics, including Prof Ian Small. The Bond and Small groups collaborate on an Australian Research Council Discovery Project on structure-function studies of pentatricopeptide repeat proteins, an area where they have had consistent national competitive grant funding for 13 years.?

About the opportunity 


	Design, overexpress, purify, and structurally analyse variant pentatricopeptide repeat proteins for controlled enzymatic RNA modification using cryo electron microscopy and crystallography.
	Work closely with project members on experimental design, data interpretation, and supervise students on a day-to-day basis.
	Collaborate with staff at the Centre for Microscopy and Analysis and actively participate in the CryoEM User Group.


About you 


	A PhD in Structural Biology or a related discipline.
	Expertise in standard molecular biology and recombinant protein expression and purification methods.
	Expertise in sample preparation, data collection and structure analysis using cryoelectron microscopy (single particle analysis).
	Track record (relative to opportunity) of reporting research as evidenced by peer reviewed journal articles published in respected scholarly journals.
	Ability to work both independently and as part of an inclusive collaborative team.
