Malang State Polytechnic, known as Polinema, is a vocational school in Malang City, East Java, Indonesia. It started in 1979 as a diploma programme within Brawijaya University and became an independent institution in 2004 with government and international support. It now has four campuses in Malang City, Pamekasan, Lumajang and Kediri.
It offers diploma, applied master*s and applied doctoral programmes. Its courses match international standards and industry needs. For example, the mechanical engineering course covers technical drawing, design and project management, while Information Systems teaches open-source software, Linux, e-commerce and office software skills.
The polytechnic runs joint degree programmes with universities in Malaysia and China. It also takes part in community service, research and social projects like climate education and disaster relief.
