State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, also known as UIN Bandung or UIN SGD, is a public Islamic university in Bandung, West Java. Founded in 1968, it was named after Sunan Gunungjati, one of the Sufi figures who helped to spread Islam in Indonesia.?
Its focus is on religious education and theology, and it is noted for its intellectual contributions to a number of Islamic movements and organisations. But its curriculum has expanded beyond religion to include numerous faculties and institutes in various fields. The university offers 48 undergraduate programmes, 15 master’s and three PhDs in disciplines ranging from religion, business and law to social studies, politics, economics, engineering and more. A number of scholarships are available.?
Especially popular is UIN Bandung’s Inter-Religious Study undergraduate programme. In the course, designed for conflict resolution and harmonious inter-religious relationship, students explore Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and Confucianism.?

The Role and the Department

The Computing and Information Services (CIS) has an annual operational budget in excess of ?12m, multi-million pound programmes of change within year, and approximately 185 staff. The Senior Leadership Team report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) with the following portfolios: Strategy and Change; Operations; Information Systems, and Cyber Security. CIS work with departments across the university to provide academic, teaching and administrative services that underpin the day-to-day activities of the whole organisation. CIS is a friendly, but demanding department, where much is expected and can be achieved by competent, self-motivated individuals who work well in teams. The department works in a hybrid capacity depending on the job role and individual personal requirements.

The department is looking to appoint an ITAM Manager to join the Asset Management team.

The ITAM Manager will provide oversight and delivery of the full lifecycle management of the university's IT assets, with a joint focus on software licensing and the oversight of IT hardware assets. This role requires a blend of technical, administrative, and strategic skills, including legal and financial acumen. The IT Asset Manager will be a key point of contact for matters related to IT asset inventory, compliance, and procurement. They will work closely with various university departments, including finance, procurement, and legal, to ensure the university's software and IT assets are managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with all regulations and licensing agreements.

Your personal sphere of influence:

We are seeking a dedicated PhD student to participate in interventional human studies investigating the effects of specific collagen peptides on cognitive functions, functional joint health, osteoporosis, and their optimal dosage. You will work at the exciting interface between clinical data collection and sports and nutritional research in human studies.

Your future tasks:


	Organization and implementation of clinically controlled human studies to improve physical and cognitive performance in middle and old age
	Collection and documentation of physiological functional parameters and/or clinical-chemical parameters
	Contribution to or independent preparation of publications and scientific articles as well as giving presentations
	Conclusion of a doctoral thesis agreement and independent completion of a dissertation project
	Participation in and independent teaching of courses in accordance with collective agreement regulations and supervision of students
	Contribution to the organization of conferences, symposia, and workshops, as well as participation in departmental, teaching, and research administration
	You will be part of the Vienna Doctoral School of Pharmaceutical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences (VDS PhaNuSpo) and we expect you to complete your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months.

	Completed Master's degree in Sport Science, Nutritional Science, Public Health, or a related field
