Mount Saint Mary College is a private institution in Newburgh, New York. It was opened in 1883 by the Sisters of Saint Dominic, a Catholic group.
50 undergraduate programmes leading to Bachelor＊s of Arts or Sciences are on offer, along with three graduate programmes in education, business and nursing. The university collaborates with Fordham University, Pace University, and New York Medical College to deliver several of its courses.
Academics at Mount saint Mary are organised into the Division of Arts and Letters, School of Business, Division of Education, Division of Mathematics and Information Technology, Division of Natural Sciences, School of Nursing, Division of Philosophy and Religious Studies, and the Division of Social Sciences.
Twenty-one intercollegiate varsity teams and twenty intramural activities are played at Mount Saint Mary. Student athletes are known as Knights, and compete at National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III.
