Karaganda Buketov University is named after academic EA Buketov. It is located in Karaganda, Kazakhstan and was founded in 1972.

The university offers a range of academic degrees across multiple fields of study. At the undergraduate level, students can pursue bachelor's degree programmes in subjects including natural sciences, engineering, social sciences, humanities, and arts.

To secure a place, students must apply online through the SESC portal and must adhere to set up rules during their stay.
