Gangadhar Meher University

Established in 1944 as Sambalpur College, the name of the institution was changed to Gangadhar Meher College in 1949, before being granted university status in 2015. 
Based in Sambalpur, Odisha, Eastern India, the university offers 22 undergraduate programmes, 22 postgraduate programmes as well as PhDs in eight departments including one foreign language programme. 
Faculties include: literature and languages, social sciences, physical sciences, life sciences, mathematical and computer sciences, arts and humanities, earth and environmental sciences, commerce and management studies, and education.
On campus, students will find a library accommodating a total collection of around 120,000 books, journals, and magazines. There are hostels for male and female students. 
There are plenty of different sports teams including: cricket, hockey, football and volleyball. There are two grounds on the campus that are used for all sporting activities.

Job Description:

SIT is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual for the position of?Assistant/Associate Professor. This position emphasizes excellence in teaching and applied research. As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the education and research endeavors of our institution.

Teaching Responsibilities:


	Delivering high-quality lectures and interactive classes in topics related to robotics, robot operating system (ROS), system engineering, computational mathematics, C/C++ programming, data structure and algorithm, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning at the undergraduate level.
	Developing engaging course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments, in accordance with established curriculum guidelines.

Reporting to the CIO & University Librarian, the Associate Director (Application Development) for the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC) will lead the strategic development, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications and software solutions critical to the university’s academic, administrative, and research operations. 	Experience in ERP migration is highly desirable
