Beykoz University is a private non-profit university in Istanbul that was established in 2016. It originated from the Beykoz Logistics Vocational School, which was started in 2008. Its programmes (20 at bachelor*s level and 29 at master*s) emphasise practical student-centred learning to create graduates who are ready to enter the workforce, particularly in the field of logistics, which remains a focus for the university. A number of courses are taught in English. The university has four faculties: business and management sciences; art and design; social sciences; and engineering and architecture.
The university operates from several campuses in Istanbul. It has foreign exchange programmes and bilateral agreements (including the EU Erasmus+ and Mevlana exchange schemes) that allow students to study abroad for one or two semesters, as well as providing opportunities for internships, completion and joint degrees abroad.
Beykoz has almost 40 partner universities in 16 countries.
