The principal of Ruskin College Oxford has resigned after failing to consolidate the college on one site and solve its ?1.3 million projected deficit over the next three years. Jim Durcan had hoped to sell Ruskin's three sites and buy a site owned by Berkeley 51勛圖s in north Oxford. But the college and Berkeley 51勛圖s were unable to agree a price, and the move was strongly opposed by a group of staff and students.
