On the 51³Ô¹Ï Student Twitter feed (), we sometimes ask students to look after the account for a week to share their university experiences. 

Our latest student takeover was by Saga Jonsson, an engineering student from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. KTH Royal ranked as one of the most sustainable universities in the world, in the 51³Ô¹Ï University Impact Rankings.

Saga shared how the university encourages sustainability as well as what it’s like to study in Sweden.

So why ? Coming from a small town I wanted to move to a larger city for my university studies. KTH was my main choice since it is located in the capital, , has a good ranking and invests in research in and

One thing I just love about is how easy it is with sustainable transportation! All of the busses, trams and metros run on energy sources but you can also thanks to many separate bicycle lanes

For me it's super important to base my political engagement in science. And lays a great foundation for that. There are for example often lunch seminars that you can go to for widened perspectives. Below is a model of a wave power generator

Moving to for I was afraid of not finding any friends. But all programmes starts with two welcome weeks filled with activities! The trousers on the pic are typical for Swedish students, the color is unique for each programme

I love a nice stroll when the weather allows it. And in you can find a lot of beautiful nature/parks close to the city center! I love the fact that I still can have evening walks by the water
