51³Ô¹Ï's 51³Ô¹Ï Sustainable Development Congress partners with SEAMEO to drive SDG momentum in Southeast Asia

SEAMEO becomes official co-host, elevating Southeast Asia as a critical global hub for education, policy and sustainability action

51³Ô¹Ï (THE), convenor of the (GSDC), and the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), today announced a significant strategic partnership. SEAMEO will become an official co-host of the GSDC, marking an alliance designed to place Southeast Asia's governmental and institutional expertise at the forefront of accelerating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This collaboration, announced today at the 48th SEAMEO High Officials Meeting celebrating SEAMEO’s 60th anniversary, will strategically leverage SEAMEO’s deep roots and extensive networks across its 11 Member Countries. The goal is to ensure that the region’s successes, particularly its policy innovations in education and sustainability, are given a prominent global platform at the GSDC.

Speaking on the partnership, Phil Baty, COO and Chief 51³Ô¹Ï Affairs Officer of THE, commented:
