Brown promises cash injection for science
Chancellor Gordon Brown pledged a funding boost for science in the new spending review when he last night opened the National e-Science Centre based at Edinburgh University. The centre, to be run jointly with Glasgow University, is a key part of the government¡¯s e-science programme.
