The programmes will be offered in partnership with QA Ltd, a firm that provides training courses at 25 locations across the UK and Ireland.

From this September, Northumbria will offer business-related MSc programmes, a one-year bachelors top-up programme in business and administration, as well as a foundation course for international students to progress onto Northumbria degree programmes.

The campus will be based at the same address as one of QAs training centres on the edge of the City of London.

According to Northumbrias brochure for the campus, the university is working in partnership with the company to deliver the new campus.

A statement from Northumbria says the London campus supports the Universitys aim to grow significantly its international community in the UK.

Northumbria will recruit students nationally as well as internationally, it says.

It adds that QA has a strong track record in international student recruitment and is one of the UKs leading innovators in education and training.

Andrew Wathey, Northumbrias vice-chancellor, said that the new campus would appeal to our growing international community and to home-based students, whose educational experience will be bolstered by the rich and diverse industry links that the capital offers.
