* Jarvis plc, a construction, property and facilities management group, has secured funding of up to Pounds 500 million for its University Partnerships scheme.
The money, from Abbey National Treasury Services plc and Barclays Bank, will finance a series of companies, owned jointly by Jarvis and the funders. The companies will acquire, develop and manage student accommodation.
