The founding director of the Centre for Commonwealth Education at the University of Cambridge is Christopher Colclough, who heads the international monitoring team for Education for All. Professor Colclough, a professorial fellow in development economics at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex, also chairs the education expert group of the World Economic Forum's 51³Ô¹Ï Governance Initiative. He expects to take up his appointment in the second half of 2004.
