Cambridge University has appointed its first chief investment officer to manage its endowment funds.
Nick Cavalla, chief investment officer of Man 51³Ô¹Ï Strategies, will join the university and take on its £1.2 billion fund in April next year. It is hoped that he will help Cambridge to compete with super-rich US counterparts such as Harvard and Yale universities.
