University of Reading. Julia Slingo, research fellow and deputy director of the United Kingdom Universities 51³Ô¹Ï Atmospheric Modelling Programme, has been promoted to principal research fellow. She is also co-ordinator of a European Commission-funded research programme on the Asian Summer Monsoon.
