51³Ô¹ÏAffiliate New Professional Award
Presented for the first time in 2002, this 51³Ô¹Ïaward recognizes members who have provided service to the field of college health for five years or less and who have made significant contributions to their institution and/or affiliate.
Conference Scholarships
The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage attendance at our regional and national meetings.
NCCHA Annual Fall Conference Scholarships
NCCHA may offer up to four scholarships in the amount of $500 each annually to encourage attendance and participation at the regional NCCHA Annual Fall Conference. Scholarship applications are accepted from February 1–September 1 annually. See application process below.
51³Ô¹Ï (ACHA) Annual Meeting Scholarships
Note: By submitting an application for either 51³Ô¹Ïscholarship, applicants will be considered to be applying for both 51³Ô¹Ïscholarships. However, an individual applicant may receive only one scholarship in a given year.
Scholarship funds may be used to pay for NCCHA or 51³Ô¹Ïconference registration, lodging, travel and/or meal expenses.
NCCHA Scholarship
NCCHA may offer one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 annually to encourage attendance and participation at the national 51³Ô¹ÏAnnual Meeting. Scholarship applications are accepted from November 1–March 25 annually.
NCCHA Pat Fischer Memorial Scholarship
NCCHA may offer one scholarship in the amount of $1,000 annually in memory of Pat Fischer and funded by United Healthcare Student Resources for attendance and participation at the national 51³Ô¹ÏAnnual Meeting. Scholarship applications are accepted from November 1–March 25 annually.
Conference Scholarship Guidelines
Student Grants
NCCHA will make available to college students/groups/organizations, matching funds of up to $500 for projects/programs that are directly applicable to College Health. It is the expectation of NCCHA that by having a funding source available, students will become actively involved in issues related to College Health, and thereby contribute to the enhancement of the overall health and wellness of college students within the North Central Affiliate.
