Like all the other colleges of higher education, it is excluded from your university league tables solely on account of its title. If it were to appear its comparative quality would be clear in areas in addition to teaching quality. The THES surely owes it to students to recognise more the existence of an important sector of higher education, which offers a distinctive and in many cases no less excellent education than universities.
