IN THE Association of University Teachers' league table on the number of women in senior posts in higher education (THES, May 15), the University of Glamorgan was cited as having no female professors. Unfortunately, these figures are based on data collected from the 1995-96 Higher Education Statistics Agency returns.

I am delighted to report that we now have four female professors as well as three female heads of departments and one female dean.
