Your report on Oxford University inaccurately reports that it does not head a single newspaper league table ("It's goodbye to Brideshead", THES, October 13). The department of educational studies has, for two years' running, headed The Times league table of 75 departments. This has been achieved through a very close partnership with regional comprehensive schools.
