As Roger Scruton argues that animals are "insensible", I cannot comprehend his statement that hounds and horses also experience "pleasure" in tearing a fox to pieces. Or is Professor Scruton transferring to animals his own "pleasure" experienced during the hunt by ascientific anthropomorphism?
