Was Peter Hill's letter on The Leeds 13 and "superfictions" real or itself a superfiction ("Worth a Damien?", THES, June 25)? And who cares, and does it matter? For those critical of the superficiality of present fashions and their sell-out to inanity, BritArt is not called a "Damien" (as in Hirst - first), nor a heist or a con, but a "Hirst" as in "Damien - alien" ... to perception and reality.
