Callers to Learning Direct have not been given out of date or incomplete information ("Helpline unhelpful", THES, September 3). Advisers have access to the largest database of learning opportunities in the UK. This is regularly updated and advisers give out only current information or suggest callers check details with the learning provider. UfI and learning providers continue to improve the way Learning Direct is updated.
