I was sorry to learn of the distressing experience of student Changying at Poppleton Museum (Laurie Taylor, July 6) but amazed to see that Dr Piercemuller was also present. This is an extremely rare sighting of Dr P, and I cannot remember a previous one in 30 years or so of reading Laurie Taylor. Perhaps Tuscany is beginning to pall?
