Ucea is right to argue that the unions should not rush into industrial action. After all, we can trust them, can't we? We haven't seen any significant decline in our salaries in the past decades, we have never been told that the money for pay increases isn't there and we have never seen the association deny that it would spend a third of the extra money on staff pay.
No, let the unions sit quietly until we get another offer in August of a paltry increase in our earnings and then wonder where the money went. Please, sir, can we have some more?
