Thanks to Martin Mills for pointing out the idiocy of the Blog Confidential columns ("Affair comment", Letters, 3 June). I am constantly torn between thinking "this must be a joke" and "is this meant to be serious?" We should be told. Perhaps then I wouldn't deface my copy of THE each week before I pass it on.
