The obituary of Baruch Kimmerling has just appeared in The Times . No one was a greater critic of the Israeli governmental policy toward the Palestinians, yet by some twist of logic the boycott advocates seem to think that they would do more for the Palestinian cause than Kimmerling by boycotting the very internal academic critics of the Israeli Government such as him.
