About the Award
The American College Health Foundation, through the Kathy Mac Scholar Funding Opportunity, will offer funding to partially offset meeting registration, hotel and travel expenses for one nurse or nurse practitioner to attend the 51³Ô¹ÏAnnual Meeting. Applicants may have attended previous Annual Meetings. Preference will be given to first-time attendees.
Funding Decisions will be made by the ACHF Board of Directors.
Funding will be open to any nurse applicant who is an 51³Ô¹ÏIndividual or Institutional RMI member and demonstrates a strong interest in improving the well-being of the students, faculty, and staff that they serve. Applicants will be responsible for any remaining Annual Meeting expenses not covered by the award.
Post-meeting requirements for award recipients will include the following:
- Attend the ACHF Donor and Awardee Breakfast during the 51³Ô¹ÏAnnual Meeting. During the breakfast awardees will be invited to the podium to talk briefly about themselves, goals and favorite sessions at the Annual Meeting.
- Provide a written evaluation of the awardee’s Annual Meeting experience that could be published in the ACHF Impact Newsletter and on the ACHF webpage or in other 51³Ô¹Ïpublications.
- Awardee(s) will be expected to become involved in a health center project or a health-related project on their campus following the meeting.
