Nominations Criteria and Process

The call for nominations is now OPEN.
Deadline: The deadline date to submit nominations has been extended to January 16.

This award recognizes exemplary, innovative, and inspirational practices in one of four major areas of college health:

  • Clinical services
  • Counseling services
  • Administrative and consumer services
  • Health education and promotion services

 

How to Nominate a Candidate for 51³Ô¹ÏBest Practices in College Health Awards

Step 1:
Download and complete the 51³Ô¹ÏAward for Best Practices in College Health Nomination Form:

Step 2:
Combine all support materials into one PDF. This PDF will need to be submitted via the online nomination form (see Step 3).

Submit the nomination form along with the support materials:

All nominations must be received by the 51³Ô¹ÏNational Office on or before January 16, 2026.

 

Program Eligibility for Nomination

  • Programs and services may be self-nominated or peer nominated.
  • All nominated programs must be consistent with the mission and vision of ACHA.
  • Programs should emphasize diversity and cultural competency whenever practical.
  • Nominated programs must be implemented at an institution that is a member of 51³Ô¹Ïor have an individual member of ACHA directly involved with the creation and/or implementation of the program by the time of selection by the Awards Committee.
