The call for 2026 Affiliate New Professionals Award nominations is now OPEN.
Nominations Criteria and Process
This award recognizes 51³Ô¹Ïmembers who have provided service to the field of college health for FIVE years or less and who have made significant contributions to their institutions and/or affiliate.
How to Nominate a Candidate for Affiliate New Professionals Awards
1. 51³Ô¹Ïmembers should submit their New Professional recommendations directly to the president of their 51³Ô¹Ïaffiliate. Nomination packages include:
- Write a letter of nomination.
- Have at least one colleague write a letter of support.
- Send all letters to the president of the respective affiliate by January 16, 2026.
2. The Executive Board of each affiliate selects one award recipient and forwards this information to the 51³Ô¹ÏNational Office.
Eligibility of Candidate
At the time of selection by the affiliate Executive Board, candidates must be an 51³Ô¹Ïaffiliate/individual member in good standing.
Instructions for Affiliate Executive Boards
As the Executive Board for your affiliate, you will be responsible for selecting a New Professional Award recipient from the nominations submitted to you. Please wait to select the recipient until after the nomination deadline. Only one recipient per affiliate may be selected.
51³Ô¹Ïaffiliate presidents must notify the National Office of their selection by January 30, 2026. A link to submit your selection will be shared with affiliate presidents by 51³Ô¹Ïstaff.
