Instituto Polit¨¦cnico de Bragan?a is a university of applied sciences located in Bragan?a, a city in northeastern Portugal.

There are a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes on offer at the university. For students looking to study in English, there are three undergraduate courses available: chemical engineering, iInformatics engineering, and iInternational business management.

The following master¡¯s programmes are also taught in English: biotechnological engineering, chemical engineering, entrepreneurship and innovation, informatics, management, management of forest resources, product and process iInnovation, and translation.

Research is carried out in eight main areas. These include health, demographic change and wellbeing, secure, clean and efficient energy, and smart, green and Iintegrated transport.

The International Relations Office is responsible for overseeing the university¡¯s international activity. It aims to promote cooperation, mobility and transparency with other higher education institutions in Europe and around the world and to develop study abroad partnerships.

There are several Portuguese language programmes available for international students who are looking to learn more about the Portuguese language and culture. These programmes teach students more about the social and economic issues affecting Portuguese speaking countries.
